Each student is expected to attend school regularly. Attendance during various events such as sports days, field trips, or celebrations are compulsory. Therefore, parents are expected to follow the school calendar and plan any holiday activities in a way that does not affect their child’s attendance at school.
Parents will be notified by email about any unexcused absences of their child. We follow The Ministry of Education policies when a student has an unexcused absence.
Punctuality is crucial in school attendance, and we expect all students to be present for homeroom time at 7:30 and the morning assembly at 7:40. Continued lateness to the assembly will result in parental notification.
Starting from the second week of school, all school doors will close promptly at 7:40 AM. Students who arrive after this time will be noted in the latecomer register and will need to seek approval from school management to enter. This record will also be documented by the Head of Department (HOD). It is important to understand that if a student arrives late five times, they may be prohibited from attending school and will have a mandatory meeting with their parents the following day. Please ensure timely arrival to avoid these consequences.
The final period will conclude at 2:30. It is important that students remain in school until the end of the period. Older siblings are no longer allowed to pick up their younger siblings from their classes and leave earlier. All students will be accompanied to the lobby by their teacher to await their designated pick-up person.
By behaving well and taking others into consideration, we are contributing to everybody’s
wellbeing. The school rules are important guidelines for interacting with students, teachers, and
other staff.
Students are expected to live up to the behavior code of the school, to take responsibility for their
own actions and to assume the consequences of unruly behavior. These will vary depending on
the seriousness of the infraction.
